Before you get started
This how to guide will take you through sending a message, step-by-step using the Capture for Nurseries app. Need to download the app? Take a look at our how to guide HERE.
TIP:Make sure you have added all of your parents' details through the admin section.
Firstly log into your admin account on your app. (only admin can send messages)
Once you have logged in, swipe right to open the menu and go the 'messaging' tab
Once you have clicked on the messaging tab you will be able to see your inbox. In your inbox you can see past messages that have been sent and also who has replied to them.
Click on the ' + ' button to create a new message.
Time to compose your message.
Firstly click on the section where it says ' To: '. From here you can select your user type.
Next you can chose which group you'd like to send a message to.
TIP: if you want to create a message to all children's parents you will need to make an 'All of Setting Group' on admin.
Once you have chosen your group, select the recipient you'd like to send a message to.
Create a subject title relevant to your message
Type in your message.
You can also add a question to your message. Choose the question type you want. Then type in your question.
Simply press "send" to send the message
